Why ABCL Spring League?

Jake Pulcheon does not have a bad attitude, or bad grades and has never been kicked off of a high school baseball team. He was the starting catcher on varsity as a freshman, and was awarded the Character Athlete Award and First Year Varsity award. He also played Varsity BB as a sophomore, winning League MVP, First Team All League and Team MVP with a .517 BA. Several ABCL Players named to Perfect Game Preseason All-American Teams

Perfect Game has released its own Preseason All-American List of Players, two of which are Zach Ramzy and Karl Kani of the CBA Bulldogs. Both are developing top prospects in the Southern California area, with Ramzy listed as a 1st Team Preseason All-American and Kani listed as a 2nd Team Preaseason All-American.

SoCal Premier starts 2014 ABCL Season with Bright Outlook

Jake Pulcheon is a 6'3" 213 lb. catcher who is the captain on the ABCL D1 So Cal Premier. Opening weekend was a success for the high school senior, going 6 for 11 with 1 2B, 4 BB, 1 SCB and scoring 3 R. He's a very tough out at the plate, with good pitch recognition, and plate discipline. Week 2 Reports and Standouts

With 15+ professional Scouts in attendance, SoCal Outlaws Tylor Megill (Los Alamitos 2014 RHP), showed well against the CBA Bulldogs with 3 innings of solid work. Sitting between 89-92 with his Fastball, the 6 foot 7 righty topped out at 94 and showed a plus breaking pitch.
