With 15+ professional Scouts in attendance, SoCal Outlaws Tylor Megill (Los Alamitos 2014 RHP), showed well against the CBA Bulldogs with 3 innings of solid work. Sitting between 89-92 with his Fastball, the 6 foot 7 righty topped out at 94 and showed a plus breaking pitch.
Other standouts during the double header included CBA Bulldogs Kamal Muhammad (Compton College) with 5 base hits 3 stolen bases in the double header, as well as Bulldog's Rawley Hughes (Irvine Valley College/St Mary's College) who had 4 hits with 2 doubles.
Kamal also pitched 2 innings topping out at 91mph. Team Victory's Thomas Escobedo (Northview 2015) also showed well with a good fastball that sat in the high 80's as well as a quick swing from the left side of the plate that should play well at the college level.
SoCal Premier's Justin Lawler (Mt San Jacinto) was another effective arm on the mound topping out at 86 mph from the windup with a plus slurve that froze hitters for 5 innings.
