The AOS Baseball team put it all together in the playoff round and came home with the league championship trophy defeating the SoCal Outlaws 8-4.

In pool play AOS was 3-0-1 to win Pool A and advance to the championship round.  AOS played outstanding defense, with reliable pitching, and timely hitting to win the Pool. Outstanding pitching performances in pool play came from Brandon Schneider and complete games from Richie Prieto and Andrew Marquez.  Hitting support came from Nathan Rodriguez, DaJohn Murray, and Zack Hannan...who hit a grand slam home run.

In the championship round of play the following weekend Richie Prieto pitched a complete game to defeat the ABD Boxers 7-4.  Cal Poly Pomona red shirt Nathan Rodriguez led the offensive attack with 3 hits.  Kyle Stahl contributed 2 hits and threw out two base runners on steal plays. Eric Telarroja and Brandon Schneider added 2 hits apiece.

In the championship game Kyle Stahl went 8 strong innings to defeat the Outlaws.  Eric Telarroja led the way with 2 hits including a triple.  DaJohn Murray had 3 singles and Jake Thumm had 2 hits for an offense that produced 11 hits.

Nathan Rodriguez was chosen as the AOS outstanding offensive player for the tournament going 9-16 (a .562 avg) and was on base 16-23 for a lofty .695 on base percentage.
